About Stefan Schuck

Stefan Schuck completed his studies in Catholic church music at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts in 1987. He then studied choral and orchestral conducting with Uwe Gronostay and Jiri Starek in Frankfurt. He taught choral conducting at the University of the Arts Berlin from 1989, and from 1992 to 1997 was artistic assistant to Uwe Gronostay. Since 2008 Stefan Schuck has welcomed audiences in the Church at Hohenzollernplatz in Berlin-Wilmersdorf to “NoonSong” each Saturday at 12:00 noon with sirventes berlin. He is also co-founder of the project KinderStimmen at the Lernwerkstatt Berlin, an enterprise run by Kindergärten City with the aim of collaborative vocal training with pre-school children and their teachers in the Berlin districts of Wedding and Kreuzberg.
